Job Listing: Accountant (Part Time)

Willow is seeking an experienced accounting professional, who will manage all financial requirements in an exciting, emerging industry. The accountant will assist in keeping our financial information in order and up to date.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years in an accounting role
• Accounting/Finance degree preferred but not required
• Strongly proficient with Microsoft Office and accounting software - Sage Intacct, Quickbooks, or similar  
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Highly organized and self-motivated team player
• Able to work independently
• Ability to develop, nurture and maintain relationships with various internal stakeholders

REPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare Purchase Orders
• Process invoices and prepare payments
• Prepare Accounts Receivable invoices and collect payments
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts
• Prepare Credit Card Reconciliations
• Enter and approve expense reports
• Maintenance of accounting sub-ledgers
• Maintenance of tracking spreadsheets- Prepaids, Accruals, PPE, inventory, leases
• Prepare month end journal entries, reconciliations and financial statement preparation
• Coordinate all tax filings with external accountant
• Administrative and operational support duties as needed
